Handmade Sword is a well-known and authentic hand-forged sword company that specializes in the crafting of traditional Japanese samurai swords. Our swords are meticulously handmade using time-honored techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans. Handmade Sword has earned a reputation for producing the highest quality swords over the past decades, making us one of the best sword sellers in the industry.

We believe in keeping our customers satisfied by providing them with the finest swords at competitive prices. Our swords are crafted using two traditional forging methods: heat-tempering and clay-tempering. Each blade is full-tang, engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, and can be fully disassembled and reassembled.

The majority of our functional blades are made from high-carbon content steel, while we also offer blades crafted from stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Aikido training swords. The sword fittings, known as Tsuba, are primarily made from brass, with the Tsuba itself crafted from copper, brass, iron, or alloy, depending on the specific design.

The handles and scabbards, or Saya, are typically made from wood or other specified materials. The handles are often covered in ray skin and wrapped with Japanese cotton Ito, while the Saya are usually made from black, piano-lacquered wood tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.

Each Wakizashi sword package includes the assembled sword with Saya, a black cotton Wakizashi bag, and a tube cardboard Wakizashi box. The sword stand is not included. Our Wakizashi swords are 1045 fully hand-forged quality Japanese samurai swords, featuring a full-tang, sharp edge, and functional design. The approximate dimensions are 21" blade, 9.5" handle, and an overall length of 32.5".
