Handmade Japanese Style Samurai Wakizashi Sword, Battle Ready

Fully handmade with high-quality 1045 carbon steel, this Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword is a testament to traditional craftsmanship. The blade is heat tempered and features a sharp edge, along with a long Hi (blood groove) on each side. The hamon is meticulously hand polished, and the blade is adorned with brass fittings.

The Tsuka (handle) is made of wood covered in genuine same (rayskin) and then wrapped in the traditional diamond pattern with brown cotton Ito, complete with a Dragon Menuki. The Saya (scabbard) is made of black piano lacquered wood with a brown cotton Sageo. The sword boasts a full tang with 2 Mekugi (peg), and is engraved with the blacksmith's signature.

This exceptional Wakizashi sword is brand new and can be fully disassembled and assembled for maintenance. The blade length, including the Habaki, is 21.3", while the blade length without the Habaki is 20.3". The handle is 9.7" long, and the overall length with the Saya is 33.1". The sword weighs 2.1 lbs with the Saya, and 1.6 lbs without.
